Architects - Researchers Tsukamoto and Kajima analyzed and collected small buildings filled with Tokyo in this way, in this way sponsoring sometimes extreme space use. In addition to this research project, they also planned and produced some such "small spaces."(Image. 2)

There are many buildings where they can get the space available, examples of which can be seen in a meter distance between buildings, at the corners of the street, between the roads, in railway tracks and in rivers. “Pet architecture” focuses its observations on Tokyo, which is known for its narrow streets and compact living environment. These low-cost buildings are occupied by coffee shops, restaurants, houses, bicycle stores and many other uses. After exploring the public areas near the University of Technology in Sydney, I found it difficult to find a pet-like building around Sydney. As I said at the beginning, the population density is too low compared to Tokyo.

But I still found a similar small corner have pet architecture, I found a bakery downstairs in the "Prince Center" on Thomas Street, the structure of the bakery and the general interior has a similar quadrilateral space. Differently, this bakery exists on the edge of the building, which means that his space presents an irregular polygonal form, and there is an angle deviation inside, in order to conform to the shape of the external building. Since the load-bearing wall of the building is not on the periphery, the bakery uses a certain amount of glass to act as a wall, which allows the irregular space inside the bakery to obtain sufficient light to maintain business, and because of the transparency of the glass street Pedestrians can visually see the goods in the store. However, one problem is that the bakery uses a cabinet to block the outer glass in order to place more goods. I made a little change in my design (Image. 4). I removed the outer cabinet and turned it into a cabinet like a round island in the center of the space, and then used more cabinets on the back of the store against the wall. This way the customer can have a clear view of the state of the bread from the outside.
